The plural of the word genus is genera, according to the Longman Advanced American Dictionary (Longman, 2000), the Longman Grammar of Spoken and Written English (Longman, 1999), The American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language (Houghton Mifflin, 1996), Webster's New Twentieth Century Dictionary (Collins World, 1977), and the Collins COBUILD English Dictionary (HarperCollins, 1995).
