Mario
Herrera, an English teacher for 25 years, does research
and experimentation on how to teach English overseas more effectively.
He is coauthor of the primary EFL series Parade, as well
as of the preschool EFL series Balloons, and the high-elementary/middle
school series My Friends and Teen Zone. As an
international consultant, Mr. Herrera has traveled the world on
behalf of Pearson Education, directing seminars and in-service training
sessions throughout the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
Diane
Pinkley is former Director of the TC TESOL Certificate
Program at Teachers College, Columbia University in New York. She
has trained teachers and presented academic papers at conference
around the world for more than 25 years, and has written textbooks
for both children and adults, among them On Target, In Charge,
Parade, Letters to Parents ESL, and Spin. Formerly
the Director of the Institute of North American Studies in Badalona,
Spain, and Curriculum Coordinator at the Michigan Language Center
in Ann Arbor, Michigan, she has taught all levels of ESL/EFL.
