TESOL 2009 in Denver was a big success; one of our most talked-about sessions was a presentation by Dr. Kate Kinsella.
Dr. Kinsella presented to a packed audience of teachers on Longman
dictionaries as targeted tools for different age and proficiency
levels.
Our goals are to create reference materials that
help students enrich their language and vocabulary, and to support
students becoming autonomous learners. To further this goal, we know
teachers need support creating lesson-planning tools that provide their
students with accessible instruction of high-level vocabulary.
