More Photocopiable Activities for the Azar-Hagen Grammar Series
John Brezinsky, Higher Education Marketing Manager

This month’s article contains 16 communicative activities designed for the Azar-Hagen Grammar Series. We also have some recommendations for using them in-class.

The Activities
First, download the activities to your computer. They are in one convenient PDF file.

Using Them in Class
This set of activities focuses on future tenses. Whenever you add a communicative activity to your lesson, consider the following tips.

  • Use them for fun. You can add some fun to a warm-up or a closing with one of the shorter games.
  • Use them to practice the target grammar. After going over the target form in class and doing some controlled exercises, try one of these activities as free practice.
  • Use them for extended practice. Some of these exercises can easily be extended into larger role-plays.

Use them with the Azar-Hagen Grammar Series
Teachers all over the world use the Azar-Hagen series of textbooks to teach students how to understand and use English grammar. Contact your Pearson Longman representative to get more information about adding this best-selling series to your curriculum.
