Readers for Grades 6-12: Choose by Genre

These titles are organized by genre and are intended for students in grades 6-12:

  • The Biography series brings together fresh voices and DK design values to give readers the most information-packed, visually exciting biographies available. Full-color photographs of people, places, and artifacts, definitions of key words, and sidebars on related subjects add dimension and relevance to stories of famous lives that students will love to read.
  • DK Readers are ideal for readers of different ages to easily access. Illustrated with color photographs and covering a variety of non-fiction topics, these high-interest readers are the perfect way to build students' interest in reading while developing their reading fluency.
  • DK Classics are presentations of classic novels in a format that is both accessible and appealing. Each book contains the original, unabridged text, interspersed with background information, explanations of themes, maps, timelines, definitions, and carefully chosen illustrations that enhance the mood of the story.
  • Non-Fiction Reference Books include titles from the DK Eyewitness, DK Guides, DK Graphic Readers, and DK Inklink series. These trusted resources provide an in-depth, comprehensive look at their subjects with a unique integration of words and pictures.
