Pinocchio

Peter Pan

Pinocchio is a wooden puppet made and named by Geppetto, a woodcarver. Geppetto wishes on a wishing star that Pinocchio were a real boy. The Blue Fairy brings Pinocchio to life, and tells him that if he proves himself brave, honest and unselfish, she will turn him into a real boy. She also makes Jiminy Cricket Pinocchio's conscience. But Foulfellow the Fox and Gideon the Cat lead Pinocchio astray. To teach Pinocchio not to lie, the Blue Fairy rewards Pinocchio by turning him into a real boy.

The Tigger Movie

Peter Pan

Tigger realizes that he feels lonely because he is the only tiger around; he has no family. His friends dress up like Tiggers to make him believe they are his Tigger family. In the end, Tigger sees that his family is made up of his friends from the Hundred-Acre Wood. The seasons are important in this film: the action goes from late autumn through to the middle of winter and includes a very heavy snowstorm. The weather reflects Tigger's mood and state of mind.

The Little Mermaid

Peter Pan

Ariel is a beautiful young mermaid who loves to dream about the human world above the surface of the sea, despite the warnings of her father, King Triton. In her fascination, Ariel falls in love with a human, Prince Eric.

Ariel is the youngest of six mermaid sisters and has the most beautiful voice of all of them. Ariel exchanges her lovely voice for human legs, so that she can be with her true love, Eric. But Ursula, the wicked sea witch, takes the mermaid's voice as part of the spell, and Ariel becomes mute. Soon Eric, too, is tricked by the witch and because Ariel can no longer speak, she cannot warn him of the danger.

By the end of the story, Ariel and Eric manage to defeat the evil Ursula and save King Triton's kingdom.

The Aristocats

Peter Pan

Madame Bonfamille is a wealthy and aristocratic lady who lives in Paris at the beginning of the last century. She has a cat named Duchess and her three kittens, Toulouse, Berlioz, and Marie. She adores her cats and decides to make them her heirs. However, in the event of their deaths, her fortune would go to her loyal butler, Edgar. Impatient Edgar decides to do away with the cats. However, his plans are foiled by two farmyard dogs and some alley cats. Thanks to Thomas O'Malley, a roguish alley cat, and with the help of Roquefort, the friendly mouse of the house, Frou-Frou, the horse, and O'Malley's cat band, Duchess and her kittens get back to the house safely. They send Edgar to Timbuktu. Madame welcomes her cats home along with O'Malley, who has fallen in love with Duchess and becomes a member of the family. The Aristocats is based the book by Thomas Rowe.

Peter Pan

Peter Pan

Wendy and her brothers, John and Michael, are fans of Peter Pan, the hero of all their stories. The night that Mr. Darling decides should be Wendy's last night in the nursery, Peter Pan creeps in to reclaim his lost shadow and overhears the conversation. He decides to take the children off to Never Land, where Wendy will not have to grow up. With the help of pixie dust they all fly to Never Land where, together with the Lost Boys, they have numerous adventures with Captain Hook and the Indians. After a very exciting stay, and despite Peter Pan and the Lost Boy's pleas for her to stay with them, Wendy decides that it is time for her and her brothers to go back home.
