Goals: to use vocabulary; to use visual memory skills
|
- Gather duplicate sets of flashcards (two cars, two trees, and so
on).
- Divide the class into small groups or pairs.
- Place all the cards face down. The students take turns turning over
two cards at a time. If the two cards are a match, the student keeps
them. If not, they are turned over face down again and the next
student begins to play.
- The student with the most accumulated pairs wins.
- At the end of each game, have students name their pairs.
