This Companion Website is designed to support classes using Longman's reading skills titles. The games and self-tests in this website will give students extra reading and vocabulary practice. Some activities are self-grading, so students get instant feedback on their work. (Students can then e-mail the results to their teachers.) We also provide downloadable crossword puzzles and word searches for student practice.

The Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced levels are further divided into lower and upper levels (1 and 2, respectively). Beginning 1, Beginning 2, and Intermediate 1 are now live. More levels are to follow.

You can select a level by using the drop-down menu at the left of the screen.

The Reading Skills website will be useful for teachers using any Longman reading skills book. The following key shows how the levels relate to our major reading skills titles, based on vocabulary level.

This Reading Skills Companion Website (except for the exercises adapted from Talk About Trivia) uses a graded, controlled vocabulary for each level.
