The sites listed below provide additional information to help you prepare for each class. Some of the sites have printable materials that you can use in class.

The "clip art" links provided bring you to sites where you can print out or download simple pictures of items mentioned in particular units. You can use this artwork for vocabulary practice or other activities in the classroom.

The Classroom (pages 4-5)

• Clips Ahoy has clip art related to the classroom. You can download and print some of the art for use in class discussions.

• My Own Resources ESL/EFL has a downloadable word search of things found in the classroom. (PDF format)

The Living Room (page 21)

• Enchanted Learning offers an activity where students can label the living room with vocabulary from the word bank.

• Here is a large word search puzzle with living room vocabulary. (My Own Resources, ESL/EFL)

• CoolClips offers clip art of living room furniture. You can print some of the clip art to use in class discussions.

Cleaning Your Home (pages 32)

• The HGTV site has a large and detailed Cleaning section, with hints on cleaning all parts of the home.
  
  
• Chart Jungle has useful checklists:
  • weekly and monthly chores (mostly cleaning)
  • cleaning in the kitchen
  
  

  Students can use these lists to check off and discuss the cleaning they do.
