This site has descriptive listings (and photos) of apartments for rent. Print one or more of the listings for students to discuss in class.



Household Problems and Repairs (pages 30-31)

Clips Ahoy has clip art of household repairs. You can download and print some of the art for use in class discussions.

Chart Jungle has a blank chart for household chores. Have students list the repairs they can make in their own homes. Then encourage them to discuss the chart in class.



Cleaning Your Home (page 32)

The HGTV site has a large and detailed Cleaning section, with hints on cleaning all parts of the home.
