The Banana Republic site has many pictures of outerwear. You can choose from among the pages and have students describe the items they like best.



Sleepwear and Underwear (page 68)

Here is a label activity for sleepwear and underwear. Have students label the drawings with words from the box.

Nordstrom has athletic shops for men and for women. Choose one or more pages for students to select and describe an outfit.



Jewelry and Accessories (page 70)

Here is a clothing accessories vocabulary test. Have students label the images. This site offers clip art related to accessories. Students with sufficient computer skills can print out some of the art and write about the images.

Describing Clothing (page 71)

This is the Men’s Shop at Banana Republic. Choose one or more of the pages for students to use in class. Have students choose items for an outfit and check off the items in the wardrobe checklist. Encourage them to describe the outfit they chose.
