Maria Victoria Saumell

Vicky holds a degree in Literary and Technical Translation and a Diploma, with Distinction, in the Theory and Methodology of TESOL. She is co-author of "Preparation for the Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT)", a module of the online multimedia teacher-training program, Teacher Development Interactive. In addition, she is author of Meeting Point, a teacher's guide to digital tools, as well as author of, and tutor for, New Learning Environments, an online teacher-training course for the Masters in ELT program at Universidad de la Sabana in Colombia. Vicky has taught English in private schools for the past twenty years and is currently Overall Coordinator of the EFL department at Instituto Francisco de Asis in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is a frequent presenter at professional development conferences and is an expert on the integration of ICT for language learning.

Sarah Louisa Birchley

Sarah has been teaching in Japan for over ten years, including working as a researcher at the Foreign Language Research Institute of Gunma Prefectural Women's University. She is currently Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Business Administration at Toyo Gakuen University, and has presented at international conferences throughout Asia, Australia and the U.S. Sarah is an active member of the Japan Association for Language Teaching (JALT) and has served as their international Conference Program Chair, and most recently, Conference Manager. She is also coordinator of the JALT Business English Special Interest Group and a member of the Japan Business Communication Association. Sarah has an MA in Education from the University of Bath and is currently in the final stages of her Doctorate of Education.
