Rachael Roberts has been in ELT since 1989, working in a variety of countries as a teacher, DoS and a teacher trainer. She has authored or co-authored a number of ELT textbooks and loves the process of seeing a book take shape. In keeping with the spirit of the times, her hobbies include pilates, a book club and wasting hours on the internet. Rachael is the author of the B1 level coursebook for Premium.

| How did you get into ELT? |
| It was supposed to be a year out before doing an MA in Theatre Directing, but I found I loved it. |

| A lot about different cultures and lifestyles. |

| Voracious. |

| Trying to do too much at once. |

| The way the speaking activities are structured to support the students. |

| I read voraciously, so have new favourites all the time. |

| I'd like to think they're dynamic, engaging and thorough. |
