General Information
Trinity College London qualifications for learners of English as a foreign language include:

  • GESE (Graded Examinations in Spoken English); these exams test candidates' ability in listening and speaking and are one-to-one oral examinations with a native English-speaking Trinity examiner. Levels covered are CEFR: pre-A1–C2. For more details on GESE click here.
  • ISE (Integrated Skills in English); these exams assess all four language skills – Speaking, Writing, Listening and Reading – interacting with each other as they do in the real world. Suitable for elementary to advanced learners they cover 5 levels CEFR: A2–C2. For more details on ISE click here.
