American actress Jodie Foster began her career acting in advertisements and later as a child star in Bugsy Malone and Taxi Driver. She has gone on to act in many films and to direct several herself. Foster also holds a degree from Yale, one of America's top universities.

Richard Branson is an extremely successful British businessman. He left school as a teenager to begin his career publishing a student magazine. He then went on to found his company Virgin, which began as a record shop. Since then he has created many more Virgin companies including Virgin Airlines and Virgin Railways.
