Goals: to use visual cues; to use inventive language

1. Bring in the comics section from your local paper or ask students to bring in old comic books.
 
2. Help the students cut the words out of the comic strips so only the pictures are left.
 
3. Have groups of students work together to invent new dialogues in English for the characters in the pictures.
 
4. Ask the students to read their comic strips to the class.
