Goals: to use vocabulary; to use visual memory skills
1.
Gather duplicate sets of flashcards (two cars, two trees,
and so on).
2. Divide the class into small groups or pairs.
3. Place all the cards face down. The students take
turns turning over two cards at a time. If the two cards
are a match, the student keeps them. If not, they are
turned over face down again and the next student begins
to play.
4. The student with the most accumulated pairs wins.
5. At the end of each game, have students name their
pairs.
