
Richard Acklam is a prominent figure in ELT. He has been teaching, training and writing since 1982 and his previous publications include the best-selling Gold series. Outside the classroom Richard is a squash fanatic, which he describes as “a form of physical chess and the undoubted solution to many of society’s current illsâ€Â. Richard is the co-author of the Pre-Intermediate and Upper Intermediate levels of Total English.

Jonathan Bygrave has been involved in ELT since 1992 as a teacher, publisher, presenter and writer. He has taught in Turkey and the UK and has a particular interest in video, multi-media and the Internet.

Antonia Clare has been writing ELT books since 1998, and has co-authored Language to Go, Worldview and Living English. She developed her passion for languages while studying in Italy, and is the proud mother of "two beautifully boisterous young boys". Antonia is the co-author of the Intermediate and Advanced levels of Total English.

Araminta Crace is a well-respected ELT writer, and is one of the authors of the best-selling Gold exam preparation series. When she's not busy writing, she likes to "do Ashtanga yoga and go camping, though not necessarily at the same time!" Araminta is the co-author of the Pre-Intermediate and Upper Intermediate levels of Total English.

Mark Foley is a prolific ELT writer and has co-authored Longman Advanced Learners' Grammar and Distinction English for Advanced Learners among many others. Before becoming a teacher in 1981, Mark was an architect and earned a Master's Degree in Architectural History. Mark is the co-author of the Elementary level of Total English.

Diane Hall is a distinguished figure in ELT and has co-authored Longman Advanced Learners' Grammar and Distinction English for Advanced Learners along with many others. An "eternal student", she has qualifications from an MA to a diploma in Film Studies. Diane is the co-author of the Elementary level of Total English.

JJ Wilson is a highly esteemed ELT teacher, trainer and writer. A man of many achievements, JJ was a junior international at rugby union and rugby league, has written short fiction for Penguin, and co-wrote the hugely successful Language to Go course. His interests in ELT include "vocabulary acquisition, innovation in listening and reading pedagogy, and professional development issues". JJ is the co-author of the Intermediate and Advanced levels of Total English.
