Cutting Edge Starter Tests

There are 4 ESOL Skills for Life practice tests for Cutting Edge Starter. There is a greater focus on reading for the earlier modules, and writing for the later ones, as this reflects the tendency of many ESOL providers to enter students for Skills for Life reading exams earlier than writing. The one language revision test is designed to be used at the end of the book and reviews both lexis and grammar. Much of the focus is on areas of difficulty for ESOL learners, such as capitalisation and punctuation.
