Cutting Edge Starter Worksheets

There are 3 kinds of Worksheet to support the Modules of Cutting Edge Starter:

Language Worksheets: These recycle the lexis and grammar from each module of the Students' Book. They focus on areas of particular difficulty to those ESOL students who are less familiar with the Roman script, including lower and upper case letters, punctuation and spelling.

Real Life Worksheets: These provide further practice of the functional language encountered in the Students' Book, and often give suggestions for alternative ways to exploit the listening material on the CD. As numeracy is an essential component of the Skills for Life strategy and a problematic area for many ESOL learners, several of the Real Life Worksheets pay close attention to number-related areas such as postcodes, dates, times, and prices.

Citizenship Worksheets (for even numbered Modules): These cover various aspects of life in the UK which are of interest and relevance to ESOL students.
