He previously taught for 4 years in Turkey and worked as a teacher and DoS in the UK. He is married with a young daughter and does triathlons in his spare time

Lucy is based in Brighton and has been working for Pearson Longman since July 2005. Before that, Lucy was an ELT teacher for nine years. She started her teaching career at Stafford House Study Holidays, London, before spending five years at a private language school in Gdansk, Poland. On her return to the UK, she spent four years teaching at Eurocentres, Brighton. Lucy also gained the DELTA from Embassy CES in Hove. Lucy loves travelling, especially if it involves the sea. Her other interests include reading and socialising.

Matthew Yallop

Matt has a BA in Linguistics and TESOL, a CELTA and has taught in Prague as an EFL teacher, and in the UK with ESOL students for five years. Matt’s interested in using technology in the classroom and is always happy to demo our interactive whiteboard software or learner management systems. Having worked for Pearson Longman since October 2005 and covering the widest geographical area Matt has become an expert in EAP, ESOL, motorway service stations and podcasts. He tries to combine a love of mountain biking with institutional visits and wishes there were more language schools near Fort William or Snowdonia.

Mahbod has a Ph. D. in Linguistics and was an ELT instructor for 7 years before being a university lecturer teaching translation, methodology, syllabus designing and linguistics at graduate and post graduate levels for 10 years. He started working for Pearson Longman in the Middle East in November 2004 and joined the UK team in October 2008. Mahbod is married with a daughter and loves travelling and knowing different cultures.

Ros has worked with the UK & Ireland sales team since 2003, previously having worked in a variety of roles within Pearson Education. Ros is responsible for the Sales Team’s promotional activities, including managing these web-pages. Outside work Ros is a mentor for local school students and leads local youth arts projects.

Louise loves reading and likes nothing better than a good ‘whodunit’! She is keen on keeping fit and attends a weekly Pilates class as well as swimming whenever possible.
