The UK & Ireland ELT Consultants regularly visit various educational establishments throughout the UK & Ireland including private language schools, Further & Adult Education institutions, universities and bookshops. We also run workshops and author talks at educational institutions and conferences.

| Matt has a BA in Linguistics and TESOL, a CELTA and has taught in Prague and the UK as an EFL & ESOL tutor. Matt’s interested in using technology in the classroom and the wider implications of e-learning. Having worked for Pearson since October 2005 he became the Regional Sales Manager in 2011. He is married with a young daughter which is both expensive and exhilarating in equal measure. Looking after the CIS and the other regions means that Matt is well on the way to collecting a football shirt from all 208 FIFA associate members, as well as getting interesting Visas in his passport. |

| Lucy is based in Brighton and has been working for Pearson since July 2005. Before that, Lucy was an ELT teacher for nine years. She started her teaching career at Stafford House Study Holidays, London, before spending five years at a private language school in Gdansk, Poland. On her return to the UK, she spent four years teaching at Eurocentres, Brighton and also gained the DELTA from Embassy CES. As a rep working in the field, it is fortunate that Lucy loves travelling, though obviously she prefers beachside spa breaks in Thailand to roadside tea breaks on the M27. |

| Mahbod has a Ph. D. in Linguistics and was a university lecturer teaching methodology, syllabus designing linguistics and translation at graduate and post graduate levels for 10 years. Before that he was an ELT instructor for 7 years. He started working for Pearson in the Middle East in November 2004 and joined the UK team in October 2008. Mahbod is married with a daughter and loves travelling and knowing different cultures. |

| Catriona joined the UK sales team in May 2011 after 5 years of teaching English in Italy, Spain and the UK - prior to which she was a marketer for the finance and publishing sectors in London. She is currently studying for her DELTA, having just completed a module intensively at International House, Barcelona this summer (an incredible experience and one she'd thoroughly recommend to anyone). When she isn't reading or watching a YouTube clip of the modern classics - Thornbury and Harmer - Catriona enjoys designing and making Maori-inspired bone carvings for friends and family and travelling to unusual places. |
