Rosemary Richey

Rosemary Richey is a Business Competency Consultant, specialising in business English training and materials development. Her qualifications include a MATESL from the University of Texas at San Antonio, Texas (US). Moreover, Rosemary worked for eight years in hotel management for the Marriott and Hilton Hotels where she gained considerable experience in finance and accounting. Since 2001 Rosemary has provided a variety of specialist training in the banking and finance sector in Germany as well as the Middle East.

Marjorie Rosenberg has been teaching general and Business English as well as English for Special Purposes for the last thirty years in Austria. Originally from the US, Marjorie has worked in the adult education sector, in companies and in teacher training organisations. She currently teaches students from all faculties in the Language Department of the University of Graz, business students at a University of Applied Sciences and IT students at the Education University of Styria. She has been teaching members of the board, back office employees and personal bankers for the last twenty-five years at the Steiermärkische Sparkasse, a full-service local bank located in Graz.

Her publications include In Business, CUP, and Communicative Business Activities recently re-released by English 360. In addition, she has written worksheets for the second edition of In Company, Macmillan, has co-authored a series of textbooks for business and technical high schools in Austria, several articles soon to be published by Business Spotlight and materials for Cambridge ESOL to use in teacher training seminars. She writes regularly for the CUP website, Professional English Online and presents at a number of conferences every year. Currently, Marjorie is joint co-ordinator of the IATEFL Business English Special Interest Group.
