Maja Olejniczak

Author, English for Information Technology 1

A native of Sopot, Poland, Maja lived in the US and the UAE before moving to Singapore. She graduated from University of Gdansk with Master‘s degree in Social Science, followed by CELTA and MBA from the University of Leicester.

Maja has had the opportunity to teach English language learners from different countries and cultures as well as catered for learners' specific career and professional needs.  She strongly believes students like to be challenged and that learners appreciate an opportunity to develop their productive skills on any occasion and at any level.

She is presently working with students from China who are preparing for their studies in international universities.

David Hill

David Hill

Author, English for Information Technology 2

David Hill has worked in English language teaching for almost two decades. Originally from Britain, he has taught in the UK, Turkey, Japan and Australia, where he now lives. He has held a variety of teaching and education management positions, and has taught courses ranging from general English to EAP. He now works as an independent curriculum and materials writer. His qualifications in the areas of TESOL and applied linguistics include a CTEFLA and an MA. He has maintained an interest in IT matters for much of his life.

David has previously authored or co-authored books in the Academic Connections series and the EAP Now! series, all published by Pearson.
